The Union’s major goal is to consolidate the poultry producers’ e orts and to provide the best assistance possible in the development of poultry industry in the context of a slowdown occurring in extensive development and a reduction in governmental support.

The Union’s activities are aimed at elaborating a unified industry position on key issues and problems, representing and promoting the interests of the Union members in government bodies, industry associations, public organizations and in the international arena, as well as providing the Union members with methodological and analytical support.

An Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Union and the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, which designated the Union as a reference industry organization. Considering that the communication between government bodies and the business community is tending to develop through industry associations and unions, this agreement made the Union an e ective promoter of the industry’s position at this level.
